Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information OffersNudge collects when you use the Site, and how it is used.

Information you provide directly

If you subscribe to deal alerts, we store the email address you provide and send a confirmation link before adding it to our list (double opt-in) — an address is never active on our list until you confirm it. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

If you submit a coupon code, contact us, or fill out the advertiser inquiry form, we store the information you enter (for example, your email and message) so we can respond and act on it.

Information collected automatically

When you click through to a merchant via a coupon or ad link, we record that click to measure which offers get used and to report performance to advertisers. We store your IP address only as a one-way cryptographic hash (HMAC-SHA256 with a private key) — never in plain, reversible form — together with the coupon, region, and timestamp. If you've accepted cookies, we also record a random, non-identifying visitor id so a repeat visit isn't miscounted as a new unique visitor; without that, we use the IP hash for the same purpose instead. Detailed click records are kept for 90 days for troubleshooting and fraud review; aggregated daily counts (with no per-visitor identifiers) are kept indefinitely for reporting.

We use a small number of cookies, described in our Cookie Policy, to remember your region, your cookie-consent choice, and — once you've consented — that visitor id.

How we use this information

To operate the Site (serving the right region, showing relevant offers), to communicate with you when you ask us to (newsletter, contact, advertiser inquiries), to measure and report affiliate and ad performance, and to detect spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third parties

We use third-party service providers to operate the Site — for example, an email delivery provider to send newsletter and notification emails, and our hosting/database providers to run and store the Site itself. These providers process data only on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments.

Clicking through to a merchant takes you to that merchant's own site, which has its own privacy policy governing what it collects from you there.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from deal-alert emails at any time using the link in any email we send. To ask about, correct, or delete other personal information we hold about you, use the contact page.
